1. Open House tonight: 6:00-7:00 pm. Let your kids show off all that they’ve learned this year as they give you a tour of their classroom!
2. Saturday 4/20: EARTH DAY CLEANUP AT SCHOOL! 9:00am-1:00pm. Drop by for an hour or stay the whole time! See flyer for more details.
3. Sunday 4/28: SOAR COMMUNITY EVENT-Hilltop's “Celebrating Diverse Minds” community event at the Kensington Community Center. There will be face-painting, bubbles, legos, art, live music, food trucks, resources, and more fun activities. This event is open to the community.

All Things Spring Carnival:
5. CARNIVAL: Save the date for the 76th annual PTA and The Auxiliary Spring Carnival, May 18th, 2024 (note it's the weekend after Mother's Day this year).
6. CARNIVAL RAFFLE: Carnival raffle tickets are going home with your student this Friday. Be sure to check your student's backpack and the attached flyer for raffle details.
7. SPRING CARNIVAL NEEDS YOU: Interested in playing a role on the Carnival Committee this year? We are looking for folks to shadow some roles this year in the hopes that they will fully fill those roles next year! Reach out to Lauren Burns for more info at laurenburns.school@gmail.com
8. DEALS ON WHEELS-The annual Bike Fundraiser donation is now open! If you have a bike (kid or adult), scooter, ride-along, taking up space we’d love to take it off your hands, clean and fix it up, to sell to some lucky family during the Carnival! Donations are tax deductible. Please drop donations with Drew Mcgaraghan at 7442 Terrace Drive (in the front yard against the garage) or text Drew at 415-806-3436 to coordinate.
9. CARNIVAL PLANT SALE: PTA is collecting donations of plants, plant-babies, pots, seeds, and other garden-related things for our annual Carnival Plant Sale. If you're interested in growing, potting, or donating anything for sale this year, reach out to Aubrey Adams at aubrey.t.adams@gmail.com.

10. YEARBOOK COVER ART CALL: We are collecting as many student self-portraits as possible for the yearbook cover on 3x5 or 4x6 paper - mainly face (no full body). Use school colors in clothing (blue & yellow) if possible Email to lindapcleary@gmail.com or drop off drawings to the front office.

Let the tradition continue! Calling all high school seniors who live(d) in Kensington, or who attended Hilltop Elementary School for all or part of their elementary school years – you are invited to join other alumni for the annual Kensington High School Senior Photo.
The photo is scheduled for Sunday, May 5th at 3:30pm. Location: KCC Office /Recreation Building- 59 Arlington Ave, Kensington. Come early to catch-up with old friends! The photo will appear on the cover of the June Outlook. If you are unable to attend the photo day you can send a single photo to KCCSeniorPhotos@gmail.com - with student name, HS attended and College to attend, Gap year, undecided, etc.
