1. ***THIS SUNDAY: Come down to the KCC Building on 4/28 for SOAR's first annual community event. There will be face-painting, bubbles, legos, art, live music (featuring Ms Landau and friends!), food trucks, resources, and more fun activities. This event is open to the community.
2. ***Auxiliary Gathering: Please join The Auxiliary tonight (Thursday, April 25th, 8:30PM) at the Kensington Circus Pub to learn about upcoming events and a drink or two (first one's on us)! This will be an informal gathering to prepare for the busy weeks ahead and with plenty of opportunities to join the fun!
3. YEARBOOK: LAST CALL FOR YEARBOOK COVER ART: Ask your child if they've already done a portrait with their class. If not, we are still collecting student self-portraits for the yearbook cover. It's looking great, but would be better with more portraits! Email drawings to lindapcleary@gmail.com or drop them off at the front office. DEADLINE is this Friday, April 26th!

The Auxiliary Annual Work Party - Saturday, May 4th from 9 am to 3 pm - Join the Board as we tackle a backyard landscaping project for Alex and Kim Pickup and family (who won the Work Party through a generous donation to KEF at the Garden Party). No prior experience or specific skills are required! Any help is appreciated. Please email khsdadsclub@gmail.com to RSVP.
6. KHS Spring Carnival: Saturday, May 18th from 11 am to 3 pm at KHS - This is The Auxiliary's and PTA's major fundraiser of the year. Many volunteers will be needed before, during, and after the event. Watch ParentSquare and your email for information about volunteer roles and shifts.
7. CARNIVAL RAFFLE: Carnival raffle tickets went home with your student last Friday. We are at an all-time high for raffle prize donations and the prize baskets keep growing! Please help your student(s) sell their tickets, and make sure you get yours, too. If you haven't seen the raffle envelope, check your student's backpack or email Brenda at brenda.lee.lau@gmail.com

9. The Deals on Wheels Bike Fundraiser: Donation drop off is now open! If you have an old (working)bike, scooter, ride-along, etc taking up space we’d love to take it off your hands, clean and fix it up, and sell it to some lucky family during the Carnival! Both kid & adult bikes are welcome! Please drop off donations at 7442 Terrace Drive, text Drew at 415-806-3436 to coordinate.
