KEF Programs Count on You
KEF raises funds to provide Art, Library, Music, Physical Education, Recess Support, Science/STEAM Enrichment, Reading & Math Support, Math Enrichment, Restorative Coaching, and other programs that are not funded by the school district. These classes and resources complement the school’s standards-based curriculum, ensuring all students have access to a well-rounded education. These programs are 100% family & community-funded. KEF is run by parent volunteers, with no paid administrative staff.
"KEF funds a wide range of engaging enrichment programs and academic support that enhance our students’ learning experience. These bring variety to the school and connect students with the expertise of diverse educators.
KEF also helps bridge critical funding gaps so we can supplement our curriculum (e.g. Eureka Math²), provide professional development for our teachers, and promote healthy, active play during recess. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributes to and serves on the KEF board; Kensington Elementary simply wouldn’t be the same without KEF!”
-Kim Jordan, Principal

A Goal to Support All
We aim for 100% participation and appreciate your contribution at whatever level is right for your family. For this school year, our goal is to raise $1,000 per student to cover the cost of KEF programming. If you’re able to contribute more than $1,000 you will help defray the cost of programming for families who are not able to contribute at this level. Every pledge, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.
